Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cheap fly mask with ears?

The Econo with Ears adds ear covers to the budget mask, which helps against biting bugs in the ears.
Will the Econo fly mask stay on in the pasture?

It has a large hook-and-loop closure for a snug fit, and the strap has guidelines so you can trim it to your horse.
What's the difference between Econo and Crusader fly masks?

Econo is the value option for everyday use. Crusader is the original design with more styles, more colors, and the three-hole cap that keeps it off the forelock.

Very nice fit, well made

This fits really well and the eye darts are well placed and it's holding its shape away from the eyes. Definitely will buy again.

Perfect soft gold color

I bought this to go with all my rose gold horse tack. It’s not rose gold but definitely looks close to it from a distance. Well worth it.

Very large horse size

I purchased horse size, when I took it out of packaging I thought had mistakenly ordered a draft/warm blood size. Materials were good, just as expected from Cashel, but the size was way off.

Durable and well-constructed

I am happy that this Cashel mask comes in an Arabian size. Fly mask that fit an Arabian's face can be difficult to find. The gold color is also very appropriate for my equine diva!

Arabian also fits small horse

I like that the mesh has very tiny holes, so that bugs don’t get in the ears. Other brands the tiny bugs can get in. These are great for the New England bugs

nice but didn't last like i expected

I buy ONLY cashel fly masks. I bought this one for my little mustang trying to save a few bucks, as i have to more frequently purchase for him more than the others. I like the color, the materials seem the same as the Crusader edition, But it didn't last like the Cashel Crusader edition. just my experience. thanks for reading.

Great fly mask for the price - have them for all my horses and donkeys.

Used reviews to determine sizes and received fly masks that fit the horses fine. Donkeys were more of a challenge - I ordered the wrong size at least once before getting a good fit on my mini donkeys. Happy with the final result though. Donating the extras to a local rescue just because.
