Frequently Asked Questions

Are shipping boots easier to use than standing wraps?

For most people, yes. These go on with elastic hook-and-loop closures, so you get an even, non-binding fit without having to know how to roll a bandage.

Can I leave bandage shipping boots on overnight in the stall?

Yes. They're made for overnight stabling, trailering, turnout, and after a hard workout. You can also put them over liniment.

How do you clean Cashel shipping boots?

Wash them in cold water and let them air dry. They're sold as a pair and hold up to repeat washing.

Nice quality, easy on and off

Love these standing wraps. The material doesn't make my horse's legs sweat like traditional standing wraps.

Okay, but there are better ones out there

I picked up a pair of wraps at plantation fields that I loved, but forgot the brand of, so I bought these hoping they were close. The independent elastic velcro fasteners on theaw boots do not give me the desired support of my other wraps (which has one singular fastener that is velcro and as tall as the wrap). These wraps are okay for basics, but offer no support in comparison to a true standing wrap.

Great leg wraps

I love them and cover them with professional choice boot covers so they can go out 24/7 with my cushing's horse.

Pass on These

Ehhh, these are real iffy wraps. They don’t tighten enough for good compression post surgery & the exposed Velcro tabs are a magnet for mouthy horses. Maybe for shipping they would be a better choice. I end up going over them with Vetwrap anyway so the savings just isn’t there, money or time wise.
